Located in the
beautiful rolling sandy hills of the Brazos
River Bottom, the Walton Ranch has been
entertaining wing shooting sportsmen for the
past 24 years. Owned and operated by Jody Tumlinson, this upland game bird hunting
facility is a well-known retreat for corporate,
executive, and family members.
Walton Ranch's hunting lodge facilities
are comfortable, clean overnight accommodations
which make for an easy to reach corporate
retreat.Offered for
your hunting pleasure are Texas quail, pheasant,
and chukar. Guided hunts are available with
experienced and seasoned guides working with
professionally trained English Pointers and some
German Shorthairs that are steady to wing and
shot. Black Labrador retrievers are sometimes
used to flush game birds and to retrieve.
Many repeat customers consider Walton Ranch
to be the best hunting preserve in the greater
Houston area.
